Racial attitudes in Australia

My friend Andrew Leigh is doing research on racial attitudes in Australia, along with his colleague Alison Booth.

If you're interested in helping out you can take their quizz at www.iat.org.au. I just have, and am quite pleased that I appear to show little or no preference one way or the other.

It won't take even five minutes of your time, and they immediately provide you with your score when you finish. Well worth investing the time for public good, and a little introspection.

no preference one way or other...but then I am firmly committed to the proposition that God made all in His image...not to mention the fact as a teacher I come across a vast diversity of names. Have a happy multicultural Day

Wondering if a slight preference for Angle Saxon names is not surprising - that's what most of our classes were full of growing up as well as the neighbourhoods I lived in up and down coastal Qld as a kid. Will be interesting to have my daughters take this test who have grown up in cosmopolitan Melbourne.

Ack! I have a "moderate automatic preference for Anglo-Saxon names compared to Italian names."
